Lollipops & Acetate

So sorry I haven't posted much lately. We have started the packing process. YUCKO!! I have NO clue how I accumulated so much stuff in the 10 years we have been here. Guess it was all those auctions & estate sales!! :o)

A friend on the PCCrafter forum started a "Fairy God Aunt" program for a 3rd grade class in California. We send emails, letters, cards, & small gifts to our God Child. Most of these children have difficult home lives & this is a small way of letting them know that people do care about them & offer encouragement. I'm so excited about this! :o) My little girl's name is Isabel. She sounds like a sweetie & she's so smart. She won the student of the month award for February. I'm so proud of her. :o)

I am working on her Valentine gifts now, but haven't quite finished. Have to get them mailed tomorrow. YIKES!! I made some lollipop Valentine's for the entire class. I hope they like them...they were fun to make. I made the background on the covers in Photoshop & printed on Bazzill paper. The cute art is from PCCrafter. I used (finally) my Basic Grey Notch & Die to make the closure on the covers.

Lauren has been making some beautiful acetate projects. I loved her creations & decided to try making one. I saw this box idea at Irish Angel Creations & decided to try making one. I'm giving this one to my sweet hubby. :o) This is my 1st one so be gentle. :o)

Thanks for stopping by...have a fun week!!

Blessings...
