New Project to Share....

Hope that everyone had a nice week. Mine has been hectic, I've been busy all week and I haven't had time to post to my blog at all. :o(

I finished up the project I mentioned in a previous post and I think it turned out pretty cute. :o) It is a part of the gift for my step-daughter's birthday. She trains horses and loves that Cowgirl look, so this is what I came up with for her. I decorated the gift bag to look like a Western shirt. I actually did sewing on the bag. A first for me. :o) The topper on the bag is closed using Basic Grey magnetic snaps. I use them on everything!! Added a buckle that I made for the gift tag.

The gift box has Yankee candle tarts in it and I made it with chipboard coasters...also going with the western shirt theme.

The card is a crossover card & I made the buckle with my Cricut & a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Wasn't sure how to make one, but for my first attempt it's not too shabby. Had to girl it up a little with a glittery "K" monogram on the buckle. The cowboy hat on the card I made from scratch & pieced together...I'm sure you can tell. :o)

The word-art & flourish on the card & bag are from ScrapGirls. Look forward to hearing what you think of my project. :o)

Have to add a BIG "War Eagle" again this week. We pulled it out again this week and squeaked past Arkansas. WHOO HOO! We head down to "Death Valley" next weekend to face LSU. If we show up to play..we can beat those other Tigers. :o)

Have a fun Sunday...thanks for stopping by!!

Hugs,
Deb
