Summer in Winter (Stamp Something Challenge) & Blog Candy Links

I never seem to have time to do the challenges that I would like to do....but, when I saw this fun challenge at Stamp Something today I had to make time. :o) The challenge is "make something to add a little summer to our winter days. It can be a project with summery colors, a summer theme, anything that will warm and brighten your day."

Summer is my favorite time of year & I am ready for some fun in the sun. When we moved here this past summer I was so tickled to hear the Ice-Cream truck coming down the street. It reminded me of my sister & I running to get money when we heard the music from the Ice-Cream truck. It makes me laugh whenever I think of the Ice-Cream Man and all of us kids running and squealing like lunatics. What is it about kids & ice-cream trucks? I am sure you are wondering why I'm rambling on about an ice-cream truck....just trying to give a little background info on why I made this card. :o) The inside reads" I Scream -You Scream-We All Scream for Ice-Cream. I'm going to send it to my sister...she will get a kick out of it. Thanks for a fun challenge!!

What a cute idea for your card! I love how the trail from the back end of the truck is a cute verse! Is that your own addition, or was it part of the stamp? Thanks for visiting my blog!

I love the card but as I Mom I always HATED to hear the music of the ice cream truck coming down the road! lol

Instantly you had kids hollering for money before the truck passed by! lol Soon they learned they had to use their 'chore' money and hmmmm they were not QUITE so excited for the ice cream truck anymore! hee hee Mean Mommy! lol
