Believe it or not I am back with a post. It has been a hectic, crazy summer with not much time for crafting. I've been trying to get back into crafting again, but seemed to have lost my mojo for a while. :-)
Alison came to visit and we made baby shower invitations (will share them later.) Thanks Alison for kick-starting my crafting again.
Samantha posted a fun color combo challenge this week. I've been working on an order for some party invitations that fit the color combo pretty closely...finally something to share. :-)
The combo was to use these colors or close to these colors.
Here are the invitations: Sorry for the icky photos...had to take them last night so that I could pack them for shipping. They are on their way...hope that she is pleased. :-)
Recipe:
Cardstock: SU Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, & Old Olive.
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey (Mellow)
FYI: One of the greens in the pattern is very close to SU Glorious Green. :-)
Trees & Trunks: SCAL (Thanks Adam & Alison!)
Copic Markers: W1-E35-Y17-G99-R27
SU Dimensionals: Middle tree is raised.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Sam!! :-)
I hope that all my blog buddies haven't forgotten me. I'm going to sit down and try to catch up on some blog hopping later today. Wish me luck.
Thanks for stopping by....

OMGosh Deb, those invitations are soooo cute. Soooo much work. Wow, the recipients are going to love them. I know I have never received invitations with so much detail Ÿ
You did a great job and it fit your color combo challenge really well.
I'm going back & looking at them again.
Hugz, Diane
I love them. You are welcome for the cutout, and the crafting bug.
WOWZERS!!! Those are really outstanding, whew your mojo is back with caffeine. lol
I totally understand the crafting hiatus, I have had some funky eye stuff and have had limited computer time. But it is gradually getting better so all is good.
Not one layout in over 4 months! YIKES I hope I remember how :) Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.
Awesome! I am so glad to see you back :O)
Hugs,
