I'm so excited to have one Christmas project completed. Have a long way to go!! :o) I made 20 of these Snowman Soups today. These will be part of my neighbor's gifts. I saved all my soup cans this year so that I would have plenty for Christmas. I open the soup from the bottom with a Good Cook can opener leaving the pop-tab intact. I fill the cans with cocoa packets, marshmallows, cocoa creme kisses, & chocolate dipped candy canes. I reattach the bottom of the can using red-liner tape. I designed the label in Photoshop and the cute snowman in the mug graphic is from PCCrafter.com. I still have to finish packaging them tonight...not sure if you can see it, the cello bags have a little fake snow in the bottom.
Time to get back to work....thanks for stopping by!!
FYI: I've had several people email me & ask me about red liner tape (that is the name on the package at my LSS), but at Michael's it is Terrifically Tacky Tape. It is a heavy duty double-stick tape. I use the 1/4" for the soup can bottoms. Here's a photo of it. Hope this helps. Thanks for visiting my blog & your sweet comments. :o)

I just stumbled across your blog and love looking at all your creative projects! You have some AMAZING talent! Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us.
You mentioned that you used red liner tape to put the can back together.....can you explain what that is? I am visioning all kinds of crafting ways to use the empty cans :).
You are more than welcome. Love your site. Hugs, Ruth
