Summer in Winter (Stamp Something Challenge) & Blog Candy Links

I never seem to have time to do the challenges that I would like to do....but, when I saw this fun challenge at Stamp Something today I had to make time. :o) The challenge is "make something to add a little summer to our winter days. It can be a project with summery colors, a summer theme, anything that will warm and brighten your day."

Summer is my favorite time of year & I am ready for some fun in the sun. When we moved here this past summer I was so tickled to hear the Ice-Cream truck coming down the street. It reminded me of my sister & I running to get money when we heard the music from the Ice-Cream truck. It makes me laugh whenever I think of the Ice-Cream Man and all of us kids running and squealing like lunatics. What is it about kids & ice-cream trucks? I am sure you are wondering why I'm rambling on about an ice-cream truck....just trying to give a little background info on why I made this card. :o) The inside reads" I Scream -You Scream-We All Scream for Ice-Cream. I'm going to send it to my sister...she will get a kick out of it. Thanks for a fun challenge!!
