Today is Dr. Seuss' 107th birthday. My niece's (Anna Scott) 2nd grade class had a birthday party for him this morning. She wanted to take cupcakes & of course I wanted to make something to send to her for the party. I made Dr. Seuss cupcake toppers. Her Mimi made the cupcakes for her. The cute tutu skirt was made by her Mom. Their neighbor appliquéd a Dr. Seuss panel on her shirt with Anna Scott's favorite quote,
It was fun to finally get my crafting mojo back. Dr. Seuss is one of my favorites, but I am sure that my husband is tired of me walking around spouting quotes from the books. ha! My favorite this week is "When a fox is in the bottle where the tweetle beetles battle with their paddles in a puddle on a noodle-eating poodle." That's a tongue twister! :)

OMGosh Deb, these are adorable Ÿ I'll bet Anna Scott was so proud of all the creations her family put together for her. Oh, and she is just the cutest Ü I ♥ that tutu and her shirt as well. Glad to see you have your mojo back. You are toooo talented to not be posting more Ÿ Great cupcake toppers.
