Estate Sale Find...

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Sunday. I had a lazy afternoon reading on the porch. I found a new-to-me (John Ramsey Miller) author recently & I'm enjoying his books right now. I'm eagerly awaiting James Patterson's new book "Double Cross", coming out in November. I love to read & it was a beautiful day for sitting on the porch reading a good book.

I stopped by an estate sale the other day on the way to the post office & found a few treasures. I thought I would share one of my finds with ya'll. I love these little art prints & got all 4 of them for $1.00!! Bargain!! :o) They are from the 1950's and are signed Fried Pal. I did a little research on the artist and his name is actually Pal Fried, but his paintings were all signed last name first in the European manner. He is a renowned artist and I'm tickled to find these prints. He was well known for his Parisian lady paintings. I'm not sure where I will hang them, probably in my guest room. I have quite a few vintage hats & hatboxes in that room. I think these ladies with their pretty hats will look nice hanging behind the table with one of my hat displays. I also bought a 1940's Art Deco style chest of drawers for $35.00...another bargain. It is so heavy that it got as far as the garage & that is where it sits. I will share some photos when I get it cleaned up and in the house. I love finding treasures! :o)

Have a few ideas for craft projects that I hope to work on this week. I've ordered a bunch of crafty things & hopefully some of my orders will get here tomorrow so that I can play. It will give me an excuse not to do housework. :o)

Thanks for stopping by....have a fun week!!
